Labor Day is upon us and that means summer is over! Have you gotten your hunting license yet? How about the "duck stamp" and HIP number?
With fall approaching that means the start up of fall leagues.
Thursday Bullseye starts up September 30 at 6:30 Hopefully we've overcome COVID and the far worse menace of ammo shortages.
Women's Bullseye Tuesday night (unless there is a meeting) starts September 14 at 6:30.
The last NEBA shoot is the Southern Zone Big Game 3D Shoot Sunday September 19 with a concentration of big game animals
Trap: Wednesday night trap concludes early in September while Sunday mornings continues up until November 14. The "Flurry" at that trap range will be held on October 2 starting at 9:00 a.m. Cost is $20 first round and $5 for additional rounds. Lunch will be served. 35 birds released continually until complete - it's great fun! (Rain date is October 9)
The Military Rifle/Pistol shoot is on September 12 this year starting at 1:00p.m. The usual categories are in place with the new semi auto and revolver slots at the pistol range. Cost is $5 a firearm used. The GONGMASTER will also be held. Fabulous prizes and lunch as always.
The 2021 GUN RAFFLE is drawing near and we need all the tickets back - sold or unsold! There is now a waiting list for tickets so if you have any unsold, please get them back to Eric (518.496.7800) or me. Then watch the nightly drawings to see if you're a lucky winner! Remember there are only 12 treestands authorized to be on club grounds. The members were chosen from those who submitted the proper request. Their names are to be posted inside the door on the bulletin board. No other treestands are authorized to be on club grounds. See the Treestand rules HERE. They were also published in the newsletter and posted in the clubhouse prior to adoption.
