Military Rifle Fun Shoot: Sept. 13 @ 13:00

Updated: Aug 24, 2020

Time to dust off your service rifles for the annual military shoot.

This is a fun way to keep your marksmanship skills sharp and to honor those that have served. Trying to get a good score is hard enough. Imagine doing it in a hot jungle with malaria and people shooting back at you!

The format generally involves squads of approximately 5 shooters, forward of the benches, shooting off-hand and sitting/kneeling. Competition is held for multiple divisions: Original Config (Open Sights), Modified (Optics), AR-15/Modern Platforms.

$5 per attempt per shooter. Compete in as many classes as you like, depending on time constraints and number of registrants.

Earn "Gongmaster" status by hitting the 200 yd gong off-hand.

$1 per attempt.

You can call John McCarty @ 518.248.3680 if you have questions.

Therefore the rifle range will be unavailable on September 13 from 1:30 until 4:30 or so.

All proceeds benefit the club.
