NY Outdoor Precision Pistol - Recap

New York State Outdoor Precision Pistol Championship Match held at NTR&GC

This was North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Clubs second year hosting the NYS Championship match at our club.

In total there were 3 clubs hosting the state championship match, Niagara County Sportsman Association, Dutchess County Pistol Association & North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club, which we had 23 shooters attend our match.

There was a total of 58 competitors with 45 shooting the traditional 3-gun match and for the first time in NYS history we instituted a 22 caliber only division for the outdoor precision pistol which had 13 competitors. We hope this new division will bring those of you that only shoot 22 caliber to join us in the future state championship event.

I would like to thank all the participants without your support this event would not be possible.

1) Kyle Gutbrodt for winning the Marksman Classification

2) Vincent DeRubertis for winning the Expert classification in the 22 caliber division.
