NTSRGC has an indoor pistol range, as well as an outdoor pistol range. To use the indoor range you must be certified and NO visitors are allowed to use the indoor range unless it is during a public event. As always remember to follow all range rules and to sign the range book.
NTSRGC competes in a travel league against other clubs. The format is NRA Bullseye. And because scores are handicapped, shooters of any ability can and do compete. If you are interested contact:

How To Hang A Target
Outdoor Pistol Range Rules
1.) LOADED FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED ONLY ON THE FIRING LINE AND WILL ALWAYS BE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION - NO EXCEPTIONS.
2.) EYE AND EAR PROTECTION MUST BE WORN BY ALL SHOOTERS AND SPECTATORS.
3.) THE RANGE MASTER IS, AS THE WORD IMPLIES,
MASTER OF THE RANGE DURING SHOOTING. HIS WORD IS LAW WHILE FIREARMS ARE PRESENT.
4.) NO FIREARMS WILL BE HANDLED ON THE LINE WHILE SOMEONE IS DOWNRANGE. ALL PERSONS MUST VERIFY THAT ALL FIREARMS ARE SAFE - UNLOADED & ACTIONS OPEN BEFORE ANYONE PROCEEDS DOWNRANGE.
5.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE. PERSONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SHOOT WHO ARE KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN DRINKING PRIOR TO SHOOTING, OR ARE VISIBLY INTOXICATED.
6.) SHOOTING HOURS FOR OUTDOOR RANGES ARE FROM 9:00AM UNTIL SUNSET.
7.) NO SHOOTING GLASS OR CANS.
8.) CARRY IN - CARRY OUT
9.) NO RIFLES ALLOWED ON THE PISTOL RANGE. PISTOLS ARE ALLOWED ON THE RIFLE RANGE ONLY AT DISTANCES OF 50 YARDS OR MORE.
10.) NO BIRDSHOT IS TO BE USED ON THE RIFLE RANGE OR PISTOL RANGE.
11.) ALL FEDERAL AND NYS LAWS WITH REGARD TO FIREARMS MUST BE OBSERVED.
12.) NO MOTOR VEHICLES ALLOWED PAST SHOOTING TABLES.
NTS Action Shooting is considered to be a style which employs many parts of various handgun shooting disciplines with elements of Practical Pistol, ISPC, USPSA, and IDPA. NTS Action Shooting is its own entity in the sport of pistol shooting. However, NTS Action Shooting utilizes many of the safety protocols, Course of Fire (COF) designs, techniques, and target types as other shooting disciplines.
Eye and ear protection required for all shooters and spectators. No food or beverages available on site. So bring your own!!
SCHEDULE: Tuesdays starting in late April, weather permitting.
NOTE: this is a cold range. Unpacking and packing of firearms must be done in a designated safe area with a safety officer (SO) present.
