2025 Trap Season
North Troy Stag has two ATA certified trap fields in a beautiful setting which offers some of the best shooting in the Capital Region. NTS offers open trap two days a week and periodically hosts ATA and sporting fun matches.

Open Trap
North Troy Stag hosts Open Trap beginning Sunday April 27 Every Sunday @ 10 am until we run out of shooters or approximately 1pm. Weather permitting. Non-Club Members are welcome at all Open Trap dates.
Last Sunday shoot is usually second Sunday in November.
There will be no Trap Shooting on the following Sundays to accommodate Club activities:
6/1, 7/6, 8/17, 9/14
Wednesday Evening Open Trap starts May 21
Every Wednesday @ 5pm until dusk
Last Wednesday shoot is September 3
Cost: $5 Per Round of 25 Birds

North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club is proud to be the host club for the
Hoosick Falls Jr/Sr High School Trap Team.
Hoosick Falls is one of many schools competing in the New York State High School Clay Target League, an extension of the USA High School Clay Target League –
"a non-profit corporation. The League is the independent provider of clay target shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for high schools and students who are at least 12 years old.
The League’s priority are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order." - NY State High School Clay Target League
